Compare simulated squiggles to live nanopore reads

Sigtrace is an open-source pipeline for matching simulated target squiggles (BLOW5) against raw POD5 reads with dynamic time warping, plus optional validation against genomic ground truth from mapped basecalls.

1. Prepare targets — species → reference FASTA + BLOW5
2. Basecall POD5 and validate reads against merged BAMs
3. Map to target references
4. Run DTW compare and review match metrics
